TITLE: Department Coach
CLASSIFICATION: Extra Duty - Certified Position
PAY RANGE: Pay according to Extra Duty Salaries / Ancillary Duties Schedule
REPORTS TO: Building Principal
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Leads the department in developing, implementing, and monitoring curricular frameworks.
- Leads the department in the collection, analysis, and response to data.
- Guides the department in use of technology including Power School, Google and Performance Management System/PIVOT.
- Leads in developing and supporting school-wide and departmental programs and initiatives.
- Participates in opportunities to support Core Indicators of performance, dual credit partnerships, work-based learning and certification/licensure.
- Keeps current with resources and best practices.
- Facilitates communication between the department and administration.
- Facilitates communication within the department to problem-solve issues.
- Assists in coordinating departmental Advisory Committee meetings.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by the Principal and/or other designee.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
The employee shall remain free of any alcohol or nonprescribed controlled substance abuse in the workplace throughout his/her employment in the Corporation. |
